By choosing a reusable bag, you are helping Disney with its commitment to reduce single-use plastics. Plan on doing some shopping? Consider using one of our new reusable bags or combining all of your purchases into one of our 100% recycled content bags.Staying in a Disney resort? You can help conserve water by reusing your towel.Grabbing a Starbucks in one of our parks? You can recycle your cold cup and lid when you're done enjoying your beverage!.Here’s a few more things you can do while you’re visiting our resort: ![]() Thank you for joining Disney in supporting our commitment to the planet! You’ll also see collection points for mixed recycling, where you can dispose of your plastic bottles and empty snack boxes. So when you eat your banana after your event this year, whether it’s the 5k, 10k or half marathon, make sure you look for the yellow banana signs! Collection bins will be placed throughout the finish line, reunion and Race Retreat areas. These banana peels are then sent to Harvest Power, an on-site facility that converts non-consumable food scraps into electricity and fertilizer ( learn more about Harvest Power here.) More than 3,500 pounds of banana peels were collected in the first year of this initiative! Last season, Chiquita®, the runDisney and Epcot Custodial teams partnered to collect banana peels for recycling. We’d love to hear from our Guests of all ages!
